The Flash (Barry Allen)
“My name is Berry Allen, and I am the fastest man alive!”
Faster than the speed of sound, the Flash is my 3rd favorite super hero of all time. I got into him when I saw the movie Justice League: The Flashpoint Paradox (Which was based on the book by the same name), and then the CW The Flash 2014 show. While the later seasons of the show became less interesting, this series had left a big impact on me and sparked my interest in the DC along with the Arrowverse. It opened me to a new world of series that had different protagonists, but were still all connected into one new DC universe.
Years ago I designed my own version of the Flash to be shown on the back of shirts for a Autism Run/Walk I was a part of. Since than I was introduced to many different adaptations of this iconic speed racer. There was of course the CW Version, but there also was The Flash from the video game Injustice 2 along with 2017’s Justice League. Wanting to update my old design from years ago, I tuckered down and starting examining little bits of things I liked from each adaptation. Part of him was based off my version of the Flash I played in the Injustice 2 video game, decorating him with pieces of gear I collected level to level. With a little bit here and there from the CW show and the Justice League movie, my new and improved version of The Flash had spun itself into completion.
